Farewell and New Beginnings: Wishing Eduardo Duque-Dussán Success in His Future Endeavors
It is always a bittersweet moment when a valued member of BRT moves on to new opportunities. While we will certainly miss Eduardo’s presence within our team, we are immensely proud to see him embark on this next exciting chapter of his career.
Dr. Eduardo Duque-Dussán has transitioned from his role as a BRT Researcher to a BRT Affiliated Researcher as he takes on a new position as a Scientific Researcher at the National Coffee Research Centre of Colombia (CENICAFÉ). His journey with us has been marked by dedication, innovation, and a deep commitment to sustainability.
After earning his Ph.D. in sustainable technologies at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ), Eduardo continued as a researcher at BRT, where his expertise in mechanical engineering and sustainable solutions, particularly in coffee postharvest processes and waste management, proved invaluable. His contributions extended far beyond coffee, as he played a significant role in various waste management projects across Zambia, Cambodia, Moldova, and more.
Though Eduardo has taken on a new role at CENICAFÉ, he remains an integral part of our research community as an Affiliated Researcher, and we look forward to continued collaboration. His international experience, expertise, and passion for sustainability will undoubtedly enrich our ongoing projects.
Eduardo, we wish you the very best in your new position. While we will miss your insight, dedication, and bright spirit, we know that this new journey will allow you to further your passion for sustainable technologies in the coffee industry. Thank you for your hard work and collaboration with the BRT team, we look forward to many future endeavours together.
Good luck, Eduardo!
