MCYR 2026 Awaits: Building on a Global Research Community

What does it mean to be part of a truly international research network?

At the Multidisciplinary Conference for Young Researchers (MCYR) 2025, the numbers tell a powerful story, one of global collaboration, diversity, and growing impact. As preparations have begun for MCYR 2026, last year’s edition shows why you should be part of the next one.

A Conference That Connects the World

MCYR 2025 welcomed 121 in-person participants, creating a dynamic and interactive environment for discussion, networking, and knowledge exchange at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ), Czech University of Life Sciences Prague(CZU).
Beyond those physically present, the conference reached a much wider academic community, bringing together a total of 418 co-authors representing 126 universities across 37 countries and 5 continents.

These figures reflect more than attendance, they highlight the scale and diversity of the research network behind MCYR. From early-career researchers to established academics, the conference continues to connect voices from across disciplines and regions. Each contribution represents collaboration across borders, disciplines, and institutions, reinforcing the role of young researchers in addressing global challenges.

The strength of MCYR lies in this balance: a focused, in-person experience combined with a broad and inclusive international reach through hybrid participation.

Looking Ahead to MCYR 2026

MCYR 2026 returns under the theme: “Research Innovation to Action: Pathways Toward Resilience in a Risk-Prone World.”
The upcoming edition will continue to expand opportunities for researchers to present their work, engage with international peers, and contribute to meaningful scientific dialogue.

Whether you are looking to share your research, gain visibility, or connect with a global academic community, MCYR 2026 is your opportunity to take part in a growing international platform. Abstract submissions are due July 15, 2026!
