Ing. Chhorth Chhiengputheavy, BRT Junior Researcher; PhD student
Chhiengputheavy, also known as Theavy, is a PhD student in Sustainable Rural Development at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU). Her research focuses on the social life cycle assessment (S-LCA) of biogas production in Cambodia, aiming to understand how renewable energy systems can enhance rural livelihoods and environmental sustainability. She holds a master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environment from faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources (FAFNR), where her study explored the thermal valorization of sewage sludge and gypsum wastes for sustainable fertilizer development. She is also a member of the BRT research team, where she contributes to research activities in sustainable rural development and environmental innovation.
