Sandipan Banerjee, Ph.D., BRT Postdoctoral Researcher
Sandipan obtained his Ph.D. from Visva-Bharati, India, with a master’s degree in plant science and specialization in Microbiology. He is a Researcher with almost 15 years of hands-on experience in environmental microbiology and agricultural biotechnology. This includes expertise in enzyme-producing gut microbial biochemistry to further explore renewable energy production, bioremediation, and plant growth promotion. In addition to these, silico protein characterization and microbial omics data analysis also complete his circle of research potentialities. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the BRT. In this role, he assists the team in pursuing new scientific initiatives, including research design and its execution.
