Manvendra Kumar

Manvendra Kumar - BRT Junior Researcher; PhD student.  
 
Manvendra is a PhD student in the Department of Sustainable Technologies, FTZ, CZU Prague, and a member of the Bioresources and Technology Division (BRT). He holds a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Himachal Pradesh University, India, and a bachelor’s degree in Zoology (Hons.) from the University of Delhi, India. His current research focuses on the intensification of anaerobic digestion using combined waste streams such as sewage sludge, food waste, Industrial waste and agricultural residues. He aims to enhance the efficiency of biogas production through advanced pre-treatment methods and microbial optimization. Manvendra also has experience in digestate management, including treatment of the liquid phase and nutrient recovery, with a broader goal of making biogas a more reliable and everyday renewable energy source for a sustainable future.
