BRT at the 2024 Biosystems Engineering (BSE) and FoodBalt conferences in Tartu, Estonia.
On 8–10 May 2024, Assoc Prof. Dr. Yelizaveta Chernysh, senior researcher of the BRT, participated in the Conference Biosystems Engineering (BSE) and FoodBalt 2024. She represented the research co-authored by Dr. Chernysh, Assoc Prof. Dr. Hynek Roubik and Dr. Viktoriia Chubur.
The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Prof. Jiří Mašek from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. His speech centered on“Smart Farming – a New Era of Agriculture”, an interesting and relevant topic as new trends in smart farm implementation are always emerging.
The "Biofuels and bioenergy" session at the BSE was of particular interest. Dr. Chernysh participated with an oral presentation on “Efficiency of sustainable development of the bioeconomy through agricultural and bioenergy potential growth: a review”, which set the scene for insightful discussions.
A highlight of the BSE conference is Dr. Chernysh’s award-winning participation in the event, where she was granted the award for best presentation! Congratulations, Dr. Chernysh, for your outstanding achievement!
