SCORE project was this time hosted by BRT in Prague from 12th to 13th of October 2023
Day 1: October 12th, 2023
The event began with a warm welcome and registration, setting the stage for a two-day journey into solution of wicked problems. The first session focised into project management, implementation, and documentation. Effective project management is the backbone of successful research, ensuring that objectives are met and results are impactful. It was a time for experts to share experiences and lessons learned, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Afterwards, project result 3, the SCORE Model Guidelines, with other findings were discussed. The aim? To harmonize the project's outcomes, making sure they work together seamlessly to maximize their real-world impact.
The day's discussions culminated in a crucial topic: coherence. Experts from all partner countries explored how project result 4, the Informative Kit for Wicked Problems for Policy Makers, aligns with other findings. In an era characterized by complex and interrelated challenges, it's essential for these insights to come together into a comprehensive toolkit for policymakers and communities.
Day 2: October 13th, 2023
Day two opened with a continuation of alignment discussions, focusing on how project result 5, the SCORE Experimentation Report, fits into the larger framework of project results. This experimentation report provides invaluable real-world insights and practical applications, making it a cornerstone of the project.
Then program moved towards the validation of the sustainability network platform, also known as project result 6. In the digital age, this platform serves as a hub for sharing information, insights, and best practices among project stakeholders and the broader community.
The program meeting concluded with discussions about next actions and closing remarks. The SCORE project is more than just research; it's a commitment to turning that research into actionable solutions that can transform communities and make the dream of sustainable, clean energy a reality.
To conclude
Stay tuned for more updates from the SCORE project as they continue to pave the way for sustainable communities and innovative energy solutions.
SCORE project isn't just about immediate impact – it's about nurturing a new generation of scholars and problem solvers. As we navigate the project's implementation and subsequent phases, we will equip these emerging leaders with the knowledge, tools, and methodologies needed to tackle wicked problems head-on. Our commitment extends to sharing best practices, fostering interconnectedness within higher education systems, and creating sustainable networks, models, e-tools, and guidelines that will reverberate far beyond the scope of this project.
