Phiona Jackline Mukisa

Ing. Phiona Jackline Mukisa, BRT Junior Researcher; PhD student.

Phiona is a PhD student at the CZU, currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Sustainable Rural Development under the guidance of the BRT. She is a graduate with a master’s in Tropical Farming Systems obtained at CZU and holds a bachelor’s degree in Adult and Community Education from KYU (Uganda). As a member of the BRT, she is conducting research on the implications of small-scale biogas plants within the SDGs context. Her research is focused on providing a systematic tool analysis of the interlinkages (positive and negative) between SDGs; the different implications of biogas from an SDG point of view (climate, health, education,) and determining the type of relationship (positive/negative/neutral) from a practical way.
