Tewodros Tarekegn Lapiso, BRT Junior Researcher; PhD student.
Tewodros holds a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainable Development and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from Debre Berhan University in Ethiopia. He is a member of the BRT team and is engaged in various research activities focusing on small-scale biogas plants in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Global South nations. Outside the SDG framework, he also works on the circular economy to find a preferred policy direction and alternatives that can maximise the efficient use of local natural resources in achieving sustainable development through the application of appropriate technologies, focusing mainly on biogas technology. Beyond BRT’s role and engagement, Tewodros is a professional in the development and implementation of all phases and life cycles of sustainable development projects with hands-on experience in Ethiopian non-governmental organisation settings.
